Its a shame dw didnt want  to come. DH thinks your very brave or stark raving bonkers ;D ;D LOL he would run to the hills, is worst nightmare!!

Tell  your dw, we promise if she comes we wont talk about TM cooking all day :)

A good marriage is built on trust and other things. I asked DH if he would like to come when we had spaces .........his reply "no bloody way." He'd rather play with the old cars and cook his own meals, although DD will probably do it.

Have heard back from the Knee Deep lady this morning. She has said they can do shared platters for $25 per head. It will depend on the chef and availability of things but it consists of things like bread, lamb coquettes, buffalo chorizo, fetta, olives, scallops and there is quite a lot on each platter. I think this may be the way to go as then everyone can eat as much of whatever as we talk and mingle. I have to give her an answer by Monday so I can put down a deposit, so if there is a positive response I will go ahead. If its too much, I'll look at Plan B.

DD, for heavens sake ,  don't get cold feet.  My DH is looking forward to at least one other bloke. ;D

We are actually coming to WA for 10 days as we haven't been west for a number of years.  Also have some good friends in Perth.
