Well I'm a snorer too, so would probably need a singlr room. Unless another snorer wants to share and we
could do a duet. :D :D :D

I am SO SO SO HAPPY to read this thread - I thought I was the only woman who snored.  What a relief.  Actually, I'm thinking of going to a Butenko course (I think that's what it is called) which is apparently helpful for this problem.  It doesn't worry me too much, although I do sometimes waken and am aware that I have been snoring, but poor DH isn't getting much rest at nights.

My DD was a real loud snorer until she had her tonsils and adenoids removed. Now she doesn't make a peep ;D

I had my tonsils out when I was a kid, not sure about the adenoids.  The snoring just came along hand in hand with menopause ... you know the story .... snore .... flush .... snore .... flush ....

I tell DH that I can't wait to be able to sleep in another room :) so I don't have to put up with his tossing and turning, snoring and farting. :)

What a great idea...the weekend that is (aka snorers anonymous!). Pity Sydney is so far dorm WA. I seriously don't think anyone is going to be disturbed by the snoring after a few drinks and lots of laughter!

When we moved to Cairns from Sydney  we bought a king sized bed . He likes to listen to classical music all night long and he was always fiddling with the head phones.  Of course he would fall asleep, mouth wide open and the headphones would fall on the floor removing them from the socket. Have you  ever been woken by the 1812 overture at 3 am?

Hence he sleeps on the other side of the house and I get the king bed with ensuite which is much needed.

I may have to fly to Sydney from Cairns to get there. No problemo.

If Tenina could come it would be wonderful for all us Easterners

That sounds like a great idea, but it's a bit too far away for me.
For the record, I never ever ever snore. Well, I never hear myself anyway.....just don't ask my DH

CP you might have to change the subject line to 'why I don't sleep with my husband'  :D :D :D  I know women who would love to have a bed to themselves but their DH's won't hear of separate beds.  I also prefer sleeping alone - DH's legs get the shakes, he tosses and turns all night, he snorts & snores, he takes up so much of the bed that I was finding myself almost falling out and he said I snored and kept him awake.  One night I decided to give him a good night's sleep and moved to the other end of the house.  We both reported that we had had the best sleep in years so that was it - no arguments from either. I can still hear him snorting and snoring but I don't get too many complaints about my snoring these days.  Occasionally I give up my double bed to visitors and try and sleep with him but I just can't so end up sleeping on the lounge. Have you noticed how it is usually the woman who move out.  Oh the things we tell on this forum  ;)

CP looks like you have a few goers . Lots of single rooms requested.  Tenina wants to come . Looks like your negotiating skills are needed.

Maybe a winery foodie place with accommodation? I say keep it simple. Just the girls, good food , a glass of and lots of laughter.

My DH hates it when I say that I'm going to sleep in a separate bed one day, won't be for a long time yet though until the kids leave home I guess.
