Oh, and in response to Dashing Dan, the closest I get to Narrogin is Katanning as I go via Kojonup. It's a convoluted trek from where I am!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

No whale sharks here Nazar, just the tiger sharks.

If it's question time CP - can you give us final numbers yet for the goody bags?  Are there hair dryers in all houses - don't want to cart mine right across the continent if I can use someone elses. Are there electric blankets on the beds? To help with shopping for our breakfast supplies, are you going to ask us what we like to eat in the morning ;D  Mmm, is there anything else I need to know - can't think of anymore at the moment but I'm sure I will.  Sorry CP, just ignore this if you are too busy  :-* :-* :-*

I hope to bring some Granuesli down with me, so whoever is in with me can share.

Just a thought in passing. Perhaps each house could have one person responsible for sorting out breakfasts etc. Those that are coming to WA cannot bring anything much in, unless it is a commercial product. Also don't plan to bring your won secret honey as no honey is allowed into WA. I'm willing to do my house and whoever my companions are.

I'm excited already. At night I lay awake thinking about all sorts of things for the weekend, from what will I wear to who will I share with?

I do agree with Judy, that no fuss should be made re house placements. CP will do her best. It is exciting that the weekend is even happening.

I am bringing some ground coffee and a small plunger just in case and we can share.

JD just get a hat and don't worry about a hair dryer.

Leftovers from the BBq will do me for breakfast.  Dregs from the wine bottles .  I have no idea what granuesli is but if it is healthy I'll pass. Hopefully ,cookie1, your housemates will love it.

It is all about keeping it simple and enjoying each others company. I don't care if anyone is having a bad hair day or wears tracky dacks for three days.

Shame on you Gretchen - fancy not knowing about Tenina's Cranberry & Almond granuesli recipe on page 23 in FFS.  It is the best version going around and I am not really a cereal or muesli lover at all.
