I had planned on visiting the Red Cross op shop in Rundle St for an outfit today, but I got a call from DS's school as he was in the sick bay and I had to go and pick himself up instead. On the plus side, he wasn't really sick. 
It did give me time to start on my goodie bag items as time is rapidly disappear ing....

OMG I can talk til the cows come home once I get a couple of glasses under my belt, and then quite often the cows are getting milked if someone doesn't tell me to go to bed  Maybe wise to fill my glass with some iced water instead

Only 18 more sleeps for a few of us .

CP maybe we could do Beer Ass chickens on BBQ's with lids on one night as we would need only about 7 or 8 chickens 8 cans of beer and nobody would have to cook .  All done in an hour.  That is if there are suitable BBQ's  Cheaper than meat . No fuss. Happy to do it. Easy as. 
Two chooks per disposable roasting pans .  Can also be done in ovens .

This chook is going to need its own thread. LOL!  There really is not recipe as such but go to this thread

Or just google it. Not original and I have been doing it for years. It's the only way I roast a chicken these days  as it so moist and the fat is drained  off in the cooking.

I'm excited- I went op shopping today and have bought just the thing for the dress up day. Now I just need to accessorise;)
