Very funny Katie  ;D
I think I'll have enough to take without the boots.
I'm sure we'll find each other without any problems. It is Adelaide, after all!

I don't know that I would like to be seen in them now Katie, only wore them the one winter.  That's the trouble when you buy quirky items, they go in and out of fashion so quickly.  Classic styles are much more durable at our age.

I'll probably be sitting on my suitcase, on the forum with my iPad if I get there first ES but I'll give you my mobile phone number when we make our arrangements re time etc so that we can at least get in touch with each other.

Hey Gert, don't worry about the cold too much, will be bringing 2 bottles of Drambuie plus at least another 12 bottles of spirits and liqueurs. Should have something to keep you warm.

Seriously I promised myself that I would never be cold again as long as I live . I was born up in the snow belt of upper New York State and  I never want to be that cold again. Even photos of snow and cold send shivers up my spine.  Do I need ear muffs and mittens?

It is snowing lightly here at the moment,  so anything over 5 degrees will feel like a heat wave to us.

8 degrees is great for morning. Frost here this morning so minus 0. But the sun is out which soon warms the place up :)

You need to pack/wear a nice warm jumper/cardigan/coat especially for night. It gets cold. I always pack one when I go there even in summer (a light one then), cos the evenings are cooler. Sorry Gretch, you will also need to crank up the heating by the sounds.
