Morning all!
« on: May 03, 2012, 10:38:04 pm »
Good morning everyone:)

I'm Lisa, from Adelaide. I use this username, Lees75, on a number of forums, so if you recognize me, please sing out.

I am not a good cook by any stretch of the imagination. I can cook when I have time, but I work full time and am a single mum to 2 gorgeous kids. We eat mildly healthy, but lots of processed and pre-prepared foods. I have been thinking about getting a TM for months now, after numerous threads about them on a parenting forum I go on. I have been waiting for the interest free promotion, so it looks like this will be my month. My boss is holding a demo on the 15th and I can't wait! I am already reading this forum for tips and ideas.

Morning Lees75 , sounds like a TM would be ideal for you and your family with helping saving time and eating less processed foods. And yes May is your month with the interest free option available.

Oh Leesa how exciting. The thermomix will be great addition to your life. Making meal times, quick, easy and stress free. No more packets. Most of my main meals are made in it and all my school lunch box treats for DS too.

Hi Lisa, welcome to the forum - there are quite a few of us on here from Adelaide.  It sounds to me as if you really need this wonderful machine on your bench - mind you, you might want to cut down on your work hours so that you can whip up all sorts of things instead.  You will be amazed at some of the things you will end up making from scratch - way beyond what I thought I would be making.  Have a good read up as has already been suggested, print out or make a list of recipes you think would be suitable for your family and have yourself a ball once you receive your very own TMX. What part of Adelaide are you in?

Welcome Lisa. You can't go wrong buying a TMX.

I mentioned to my bro and his wife today that I was going to get a TM. My brother's response was, "NoOooooOo!" His wife is going to a demo next weekend and he is worried- lol! Now I am going with her, he is extra worried!
