Hi all, just wanted to post a quick introduction! We have been using our thermomix for close to 6 months now and loving it! Today, I made my very first sponge cake and layered it with homemade strawberry jam, all with the help of the thermomix
Looking forward to learning and sharing with everyone here! I'm from north victoria

Hi Mavvie and welcome to the forum. I expect your cake was a huge success - quite a thrill when things turn out well.

Hi Judy
I tried the one from the cookbook that came with the thermomix.. it turned out ok - albeit a little dry and it wasn't a nice flat cake but i suspect it's to do with my oven..
Thansk everyone for the nice warm welcome!
Cheers

Hi Mavvie, I haven't tried a sponge yet, I mostly seem to end up with some sort of chocolate cake or slice. I have a no fail sponge recipe that I must give a go.
