hello!
« on: May 06, 2012, 01:26:46 pm »
Hi all, just wanted to post a quick introduction! We have been using our thermomix for close to 6 months now and loving it! Today, I made my very first sponge cake and layered it with homemade strawberry jam, all with the help of the thermomix :D

Looking forward to learning and sharing with everyone here! I'm from north victoria :)

Hi Judy

I tried the one from the cookbook that came with the thermomix.. it turned out ok - albeit a little dry and it wasn't a nice flat cake but i suspect it's to do with my oven.. ;)

Thansk everyone for the nice warm welcome!

Cheers
Mavis

Hi Mavvie, I haven't tried a sponge yet, I mostly seem to end up with some sort of chocolate cake or slice.  I have a no fail sponge recipe that I must give a go.
