Visiting chateaux in the loire valley
« on: May 09, 2012, 09:41:13 pm »
I met up with Trudy today and spent a lovely amusing day visiting chateaux etc ..will be off again tomorrow visiting some more with them.. Sorry no photos of us as yet as today started off a bit stressful and forgot the camera (flat tyre debarcle) but will get one photo at least before they leave 😊

Trudy is absolutely lovely and enjoyed taking her and dh and co around.. Was a nice day which started off very grey but ended up nice and sunny.. Tomorrow is supposed to be lovely and sunny ..fingers crossed!

Frozzie I'm so glad you all had a lovely day. I do hope that it cheered you a little. I'm sure Trudy had a tiny bit of sunshine tucked awa for you.

... well, at the moment at least it's sunny here in Melbourne - however, that could all change in a very short time!

Frozzie, so wonderful to hear that your time with Trudy is so enjoyable and that the weather is being kind to you.  Hope you enjoy the rest of her visit.

After waiting so long Kim, the time has finally arrived.  How are the travellers, getting a bit weary or keeping up with the pace?  Hope the sun keeps shining for you all - enjoy your valuable time together & make the most of it.  Say hi to Trudes for me.

Oooh, which chateaux did you visit? My late partner proposed to me at Chenonceau, lovely memories. Pictures please when you get time, Frozzie!
