Have you checked out Aaron's hotel Uni? I met a friend there a couple of years ago and it was quitereasonably  priced and near Paddy's market, Chinatown and walking distance to Darling Harbour. Not flash but clean and decent location. My BF had a room that had 3 different areas with 3 large beds. My room had 2 queens.  :)

Yes I agree Uni I would want my own room too. Also for a safety aspect it would be good if everyone had another person to stay with in the same hotel.

Maybe everyone that is interested in going should start getting some prices on different areas

I would need my own room too as I snore. I'm happy to stay where ever. Maybe we should at least pick a a location for e.g. Darling Harbour that way we are all in walking distance of each other and those that don't mind sharing a room could pair up with a room mate. I will be travelling from Lake Macquarie down past the Central Coast and into the city, happy to pick up anyone along the way.
Also anyone from further up north I could pick up from Fassifern station. :)

What do you think is a reasonable $ to pay per night and I will start looking?

Basically it's only to sleep in. We will be out and about most of the time.
See what you can up with Yvette? Appreciate you looking.

$99 would be excellent. Good price at a busy time of year.
