Hi from Adelaide

Well, we've now become a three Thermomix family - my mother, sister and I all have one each now! We only took delivery on Thursday so I'm still a TM baby but looking to learn quickly!
My partner and I have very busy and irregular schedules, so we're looking forward to cooking good food quickly and easily. I'm a reasonable cook with varied tastes, but my interest in cooking has waned recently. Already I can feel that the TM is inspiring me to branch out and try more interesting stuff again.
Thanks to everyone here for your recipes and tips - I've been making a collection in anticipation of delivery, so lots of things to try out now.

Nice to see another Adelaidean join the forum alioc, a big welcome to you. Which suburb are you in? You probably know so much about the TMX with it already being in the family and I guess it was only a matter of time before you joined your Mum and sister as an owner. Are they also members of our forum or are you the first one to find us? You will find your cooking mojo will return in no time and you will want to spend your spare time whipping up things you never dreamed of doing. Have fun.

Welcome to the forum, my mother, sister and myself also all have a TM each. And we all love being able to swap recipes and encourage each other to try different things.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Judydawn, I live in the Adelaide CBD.Yesterday, I had my first big cook-off and went a bit nuts but it's really helped with my confidence. So far I've made:
Chicken in yogurt, from the forum (for delivery demo)
Quirky Jo's chocolate banana nut ice cream
Porridge for 1, from the forum
Quirky Jo's chicken stock paste
Basic bread, from EDC
Quirky Jo's creamy chicken & brown rice soup
Lemon butter, from EDC
Vanilla custard, from EDC
Amazing. So little effort for so much reward. Loving it.
