Wow, that was quick with the photo Judy and lovely to meet you today! I'm feeling so full from all the different foods, but can't stop flicking through my new, autographed book and feeling inspired to get cooking. I would recommend the class, food and goodie bag to anyone who is undecided about going!

Lol. I'm booked for 1pm in Adelaide too- and booked a ticket for my cousin as well. It will be fabulous to meet all the forum members (I stalk, read and cook more than I post :-) )

It looks amazing and made me smile (in a good way I mean)! I think your student teacher will feel very special. I used a tin like this and had the same problem - so I just pleated some tin foil around the base half to look like a silver cup cake wrapper. Voila, and no icing of sides required

Lol - I just had to google nude lunches too! . Hope your Thermie comes soon - my tip would be to line up friends and family to supply ingredients, look after children and then take home left overs so you can play all day!

Recipe Name: Fragrant Quinoa Book Name: A Taste of Vegetarian (page 43) Tweaking details: I only made half quantity, and had to substitute galangal with ginger, and celery and spring onion with a leek. Review: I found this had enough flavor to eat as a stand alone dish for lunch at work and was enjoyable enough cold. It did go a bit 'gluggy' though, but I'm not familiar enough with quinoa to know if this is a characteristic of quinoa generally or this recipe specifically. Score: 4 out of 5 - not outstanding, but I'll probably come back to it again.

My turn, my turn!
I decided on "Fragrant Quinoa" from A Taste of Vegetarian page 43. I've only got the EDC, so had to borrow a couple of TMX books from a friend - such a hardship lol! It is great to feel like I'm giving something back to this fabulous community that I've spent some 14 hours on so far with only a handful of posts!
Now to write the review...

I made these in cupcakes last night, and added a simple syrup of orange juice and castor sugar over the top- delicious! The cake texture was much lighter than I was expecting and really moist - I made a dozen to take to a family do and they all went very quickly. MM = Mr Man?

Next time I think I would make double of the butter mixture too, and freeze the rest of the log for dabbing on steak, adding to mash etc... Why can I see my bathroom scales groaning already?

I made these for tea last night and can only repeat what has already been said-yum! I also made 6, cooked 3 and had 1 leak but I liked the way the leaked one helped add extra flavor to the crumbs of them all. Thanks for the concept.

Made this for the delivery demo except substituted 140g red wine for the white wine and water. it was yum, although my meat would have been more tender with slower cooking. One to keep on the menu rotation although next time I'll try Chelsea's version

Congratulations!!! Hope yours arrives soon too - the wait will feel like forever but with each second the delivery draws nearer... My DH was texting me hourly countdowns on the final day! In the meantime the fun of planning your first dishes awaits...
