I'm getting back into reading again this year so enjoying this thread again.

I read The Dressmaker. Haven't seen the movie yet but did enjoy the book. A bit predictable at the end but a good laugh.

The Demon Dentist by David Walliams. Hilarious but a bit of a push at the end. Was reading it to my boys who didn't like  one of the characters dying before their bedtime.

The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion. A refreshing portrayal of characters and a nice storyline to boot.

I was at a course on lacto fermentation last weekend. My body responded in an incredible fashion. So much happier and head heaps clearer.

I can't comment on the blades but you can try putting your steamer basket in the jug above the seeds when you mill the seeds to keep them close to the blades.

Are their any other appliances on the circuit? There might be a safety switch/fuse/over ride that has kicked in. Hope it's a quick fix for you.

I had success with my silverside this time as compared to the burn incident 6 months ago. I was mindful of the issues with silverside so glad my machine came out the other side. That being said, although very tender, I like my oven roasted recipe so I won't be tempting fate again.

I had issues with most of my plastics with my 31 at first. No hiccups with my 5 so far.

And today another 3kgs of blood plums arrived. These are good eating.

It's been a lovely orchard week with apricots, figs, peaches nectarines and apples already overflowing the fruit bowl. Yum!

It took a month but they ripened eventually. Cinnamon roasted plums and plum chutney from 'journal of a French Foodie' and a batch of plum jam once my 3 year old decided they were sweet enough to eat 4 while he sat on my bench.
