I came on to get some reading suggestions. I haven't got a book on the go atm. I've just finished reading the last in the series, Before the Coffee gets Cold. It's by a Japanese author Toshikarzu Kawaguchi. it's been translated to English so sometimes doesn't flow. It's has nice story lines with not too much thinking to be done.

They look really good Chookie. I made a loaf of walnut and maple bread. It was a recipe from when I had a bread maker.

Made creamy chicken curry and rice from Cookidoo. It was really nice. I made the rice in a ring tin in the varoma, as per recipe. It was ready in 40mins. The guided cooking is working out well for me.

I feel the same Chookie. I'm happy to leave the slow cooker on. Wouldn't like to go out and leave Thermie on.

Love minestrone soup. I made the gluten free snickers slice. Everyone loved it. I didn't post a pic as they come out so big.

Lots of great cooking happening. The chocolate and almond biscuits look wonderful.
Today I made the Soft Chinese Buns off cookidoo at Chookies suggestion. Very quick to make. I got a bit distracted so they are a bit brown on top however they taste good.

That's sounding really positive Cookie and Chookie. I won't get mine until september. I will keep my 6 for while until other accessories are available for the 7 which I'm told won't be until 2026. I've been really getting into bread making and have had some great success.

Hello to everyone Hope you are all well.
I came on to see what y'all were thinking about the TMX 7. I'm tempted, I've been to a recent demo and love the fact that you can cook without the lid on, the ease of removing the base, the large screen. I love the black, sleek look. It's quiet. Just am torn as I have the accessories for the 6. Mich

Just popped in to say hello. Hope you are all well. Have been trying to catch up on a few of the threads. Looks like some great cooking has been going on. I'm quite busy these days. Just when I thought I was done with nursing, an opportunity presented itself and I'm working full time and thoroughly enjoying my new role. TMX has been a lifesaver with meals. Have been looking around the forum to see if anyone has put their own recipes onto TMX 6 and what you think of the feature. I'm not sure if it would be worth it or not. Hoping to pop in a little more regularly and catch with you all. Have a lovely day
