Thanks for all the good wishes for DD and friends. It’s amazing the support they have available. Minimum 2 1/2 weeks , max 4 weeks. The longest leg is 12 hours paddling.
Ral had appointment with specialist. He spent an hour with us. It was his last appointment for the day. He is pleased with his progress. Showed us how they read the scan that Ral had. OMG, hadn’t realised that they see MUCH more than they ever let on. Lesson, ask lots of questions.

They’re usually time poor Chookie but being the last appointment does give them the opportunity to share more information.  I wait for well over an hour every time I see my major specialist but he is amazing and tells me much more than I need to know.

Just popped in to say hello. Hope you are all well. Have been trying to catch up on a few of the threads. Looks like some great cooking has been going on. I'm quite busy these days. Just when I thought I was done with nursing, an opportunity presented itself and I'm working full time and thoroughly enjoying my new role.  TMX has been a lifesaver with meals. Have been looking around the forum to see if anyone has put their own recipes onto TMX 6 and what you think of the feature. I'm not sure if it would be worth it or not. Hoping to pop in a little more regularly and catch with you all. Have a lovely day

Hi Michele, lovely to hear from you and congratulations on your new full time job.  You and your TMX must be getting along really well now, I remember a time when you were disappointed with everything you made in it.  I still have my TM32 so cannot comment on your TM6 question but someone will I”m sure. Lovely to hear from you Mich. We never know what life will bring us and it's great that you have found a new role you are enjoying.
I like the fact that I can enter on recipes that I make very frequently. I have put my Classic loaf on there as I can never remember what the amount of flour is. I've also put my SD bread on there, but I can remember that one. I just wanted to play with the machine. We have a couple of Cookidoo meals too and I will add those into my recipes as I can put my alterations in then too.

Hi Michele. Great to hear from you. I bought a 6 and it has lots of features that make it interesting. I haven’t taken full advantage of what it has to offer. My fault, not the machine.

DD and the Two girls with her are twins.  They have paddled to the next island and will probable stay a week. I will post 2 photos. The first is a photo of DD Kayak and all the stuff she has to fit in. The second is from Google of their second stop, Edith island.

Marina,amazing isn’t it. DD had special help by a Kayak expert in how to pack. First attempt and then he poured water in. It took a couple of litres and so there was space. She kept packing until no water could go in. You might be interested in that the twins she is travelling with are from a Scottish family. The parents are backup crew. They have quite a lot of unsolicited sponsors. Their aim is to enjoy the experience not to just get to Tassie quickly.

It is amazing Chookie, it makes packing a suitcase look much easier now I’ve seen that!  I’m so glad they’re taking their time to get there.
