Introduce Yourself / Re: Hi from Perth!

Ohh I haven't been on here for a while!!

I had my delivery demo on Tuesday night which was fantastic, really want to make some more risotto (especially since I can take it to work for lunch the next day!).

I've made tons of soup (Potato & Leek, Cauliflower & Almond, Sugar Snap Pea), Steamed plenty of salmon and tried plenty of different things!

I'm going to make spaghetti bolognaise in the thermo, first time so we will see how that goes! And also give my hubby a quick lesson as I'll be away in Sydney for the next few days and I don't want him to kill the machine whilst I am gone if he attempts anything!

Thanks CreamPuff, I'll have a look at those today and start creating! I'm really happy that my husband is excited too! He even ate the hummus which he never usually eats!

Those muffins look delicious! I've found my oven is almost 20 degrees out when I bought my oven thermometer so I am glad that I bought one!

Wow those Cristel pots look great! I've look at removable handle ones before which I though were really lose and didn't feel like they griped, I wonder what their ones are like? But everything looks really sleek.

It's a good idea! I personally hate the stuff but the in-laws love it. My Mother-in-law lived in Denmark as a child and grew up on it! I made the mistake whilst I was over there (didn't want to be rude!) haha!

Yeah anyone in my husbands family ends up being the couriers for aussie goodies like tim tams, twisties, violet crumbles and even tomato sauce when ever any of us travel to europe! And we have to bring back salted licorice and Pålægschokolade which is just awesome stuff! Thin layers of chocolate that just melts beautifully!

That's a good way of not wasting too many things whilst cooking! I'm definitely going to keep egg shells ready for that too!

I remember the last time I was in Bali there was a lady who couldn't swim so she had a snorkel & flippers in the shallow end of the pool whilst her husband/partner tried to teach her how to swim. Then there was another lady and her mother who hired some locals to babysit the child whilst they laid on the sunbeds all day long. It's so interesting how people act on holidays! I spent more time in the pool than on the sunbeds as I'm quite fair and I hate being even slightly sunburnt (which only takes a couple of minutes for me!)
