I just had dinner but now I'm hungry again seeing those, Maddy!!! :)
I was tired from a long demo, and hanging around the stables waiting for my daughter... so I just made the old faithful 'chicken & cashews', but instead of the satay sauce I just added garlic, ginger & some asian stock (from the asian cookbook) to the juices left in the bowl - it was delicious! And quick. :)

I'm going to make spaghetti bolognaise in the thermo, first time so we will see how that goes! And also give my hubby a quick lesson as I'll be away in Sydney for the next few days and I don't want him to kill the machine whilst I am gone if he attempts anything!

:D Aww... Thanks Bedlam, but I think Julie takes the BEST photo's, and mine are more close up snapshots  ;)

Tonight hubby out to a sportsman dinner, so kids voted in pizza.
Little man had his usual ham, salami, and cheese, but my girl and I like to try something different.  It was a little naughty, but tasted yummy.

Smoked bacon, marinated artichokes, triple cream brie & lemon thyme.

I gave my Indian Cookbook a good working out today: Beef Vindaloo, Chicken Tikka Masala, Spicy Green Beans with Coconut, Bombay Aloo (Bombay Potatoes) & Naan bread.  Also made a little jar of Tikka paste for my sister in law to take home with her (she is not luck enough to have a TM - yet  ;))

Farfallina's beef stew with dried and fresh mushrooms. It really was delicious with a lovely smooth and flavoursome sauce. Followed by Thermomixers old fashioned cold pineapple pudding. Although the pudding didn't quite set it was really tasty and something I would definately make again. Actually both recipes will be staying in my collection.

They are gorgeous Maddy. Why don't mine look like that??? With your homemade tortillas? Yet to try them... Kids back to school so just 1 and a half at home (DD4 goes to kindy and DD2).

Old el paso ones tonight  ;)  Left it too late to make my own tonight.
A simple tip to keep them in shape......skewer them with 2 toothpicks at the fold, and then bake them that way with the sauce and cheese.  Pluck them out before serving, and they keep their shape nicely.

I'm making Maddy's Easy Satay Chicken Risotto. I made the satay sauce on the weekend in preparation as there just isn't enough time after work for something.
