Tonight's dinner WAS leftovers, actually!
My boys had an entree of tomato and lentil soup, followed by the goulash and noodles! Oh, and then icecream.
Doing it tough in our house!!

Welcome to the forum Jen, and good luck being a consultant! Though with a little one, you probably know lots of mothers in desperate need of a thermomix!!!

Hi Judy - thanks for this recipe!
I made it for the boys tonight, with some pasta and steamed broccoli and cauliflower. The only change I made was to swap the beans for peas, as my little ones have a real aversion to beans, for some reason... must be all that green!!
I thought it was delicious - really tasty - will be making it again!

Made this for dinner tonight - thanks for the recipe!
Added some cornflour to thicken it at the end, which turned out to be handy because I'd forgotten to steam the veg, so gave me time to do that. Too many things going on at once in our house!
Everyone enjoyed it - had it with some mash and steamed broccoli - yum!
Thank you very much!

I made this soup tonight but omitted the lemon juice - I wasn't sure how the soup would go down with my boys, so thought I'd keep it simple for the first attempt.
The boys thought it was ok, but I had to convince them to finish it (by convince, I mean inform them there's no dessert unless they finish ALL their dinner!).
So while the boys didn't like the soup all that much, hubby and I really liked it. I thought the consistency was great (nice and thick) and the flavour was good. Best of all, lots of vegies!
We had it with some fresh bread, and it was yummy!

Welcome to the forum, Dilga! I only just got my tmx, and I agree - it's very exciting!!
You could always do what I did to pass the time - print some recipes, write up a shopping list and get your ingredients ready, so you're all set to get cooking once thermie arrives.
Look forward to seeing you around on the forum

Thanks Johnro - I made this for dinner tonight, and everyone really enjoyed it! The only thing I did different was to chop up the mushrooms into itty little bits so the kids couldn't see them ... Thanks! Will be making this one again ..
