I just ordered my groceries for the coming week - $72

We ended up going away after all and using all those extras I'd bought last week.  I was quite keen to have a go at the $21 challenge, but happy with that for this week  It is almost all fresh milk, fruit & vege anyway.  I bought one meal's worth of chicken, and 3 tins of tomatoes (79c each). 
It did also include a block of cheese, so there goes $10    For such a dairy-producing country it drives me nuts how expensive milk and cheese are.  $20 of my week's spend is milk and cheese. Grrr

I have just placed a big ww on line order as we have nothing, but did get carried away with some specials.

So must get back on track, the key for me is to menu plan. So will start the plan today.

Have spent about $250-$300, not adding up on food since we have been back.

I spent $125 on groceries (but some was stocking up and some non food items) plus $35 on fruit and veg at the markets. That total doesn't include any meat though, I'm using up freezer stocks so I have room for my mama bake goodies

$126.72 this week which included cheeses & deli meats for our sunday house celebrations. So happy with that

We were at $142 for this week we would been closer to the $100 mark but I bought some weed killer (lots of weeds in the new garden and community footpath)

Thanks, its getting near enough impossible to stay below $100, prices have really risen recently. i will be over $100 this week with all the Halloween chocolate.

Weedkiller doesnt count, its toxic, you cant eat it
