When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.

Love $0 weeks!  :)
we had a $0 last week too, and this week I only need milk.

We'll done everyone. Obbie that's amazing having a no spend week what about milk and bread?

Don't know about Obbie but for us I make the bread (DH is the only one who will eat shop bread here, and he would still rather homemade! Love my TM) and milk is really the only thing but I always have longlife in stock so use that when we run out of fresh.
Last week was a bit of a trick tho cuz we got all bits and pieces out of BILs fridge (when he went to hosp) and also the in-laws fridge (when they went up to see him.)  :)

I make bread too. We dont like longlife milk & we like fresh fruit & veg each week, which makes it hard to have a 0 week.

I have found prices have gine up quite a bit over the last few months.

We bought milk on Saturday, and picking stuff from vege garden daily now.
Bread is in Freezer, I buy bulk.

Had no time to shop with the party Saturday, and Sunday we went to Cairns for lunch..
It would be good to do a zero spend once a month. :) :)

Approx $250 this week, havent added all up but a rough guess.

Bought quite a few bulk items on special.

Not a good week, next weeks looking sad too. Out of flour, coffee etc.

Hally we are like you and will only have fresh milk, cream and buy fruit and veggies everyweek so could never have a true zero spend. DS is the only one who really eats bread each day. I really should start making him a sandwhich loaf on the weekends but just run out of time.

We have a really well stocked pantry and freezer at the moment so need to think a bit harder about using up what we have rather than buying more.

Yes I like fresh produce every few days. We have a good stock of things but basics I am out off. Need to get the veg patch up & running. its good to use eat your books app & list a few ingredients & you find that you have a choice of meals with whats in the house :)

I've spent $144 this week, but actually pretty happy with that.  Budget is "officially" $150, but trying to slowly reduce that to $120...we'll see how that goes  ;)

I did stock up on a few things - have DD's birthday party coming up in less than 2 weeks, and also dark choc was on special, so bought some extra of that for making Xmas goodies (always goes up in price or sells out before Xmas!!).

I buy up bulk when things are on special.

DH bought 3 x 3L of milk on the saturday, I usually shop on Sundays.  Love our big freezers.

Our vege garden is going great, will plant up more seeds.
Just ordered our Christmas Ham.
