An expensive challenge Gert - how many quail does $30 buy?

That is not a bad price really. For 8 Fresh Quail.

I am planing on cooking  quail with 4 different recipes!

Hope you are still resting up, Robyn. :)

$68 this week - will be a record for me if I can avoid the shops for the rest of the week.

DH and I are participating in a no spend month. We have a budget of $250 for the month for groceries, eating out (very sparse) petrol, gifts (no birthdays this month) etc.
It doesn't include our mortgage, electricity, internet, insurance, water or rates, which are our only expenses.
Has done wonders for eating out of the pantry and freezer - can't wait to turn the freezer off for a few months.
Along with this bit of a project, we have committed to donating/tossing/selling 465 items from our home.
I feel lighter, less stressed and pumped up to complete June.  ;D

You've given so much away already Michele, do you have that many items left to get rid of?  Good luck with your challenges.

It wasn't my idea GF - It's the minimalist game - you start at the beginning of a 30 day month and get rid of things with the number of the month (June 1st, get rid of 1 thing - June 25 get rid of 25 things). By the end of the month you have 465 less things. Easy  ;D

They have a lovely story from being fat 5th graders together to being high flying, big earner, owners of everything - realising that having stuff isn't what it's cracked up to be and the journey getting rid of it all.

Not really Cookie. I can think of lots of things I wish I hadn't purchased though.
