Nut Clusters from Perth Biggest Morning Tea
« on: June 07, 2012, 02:41:36 am »
Does anyone have the recipe for the Nut Clusters that were served at the Perth Biggest Morning tea a few weeks ago?

There were hundreds of them on little plates along with the chocolate alternative and the cupcakes, but I can't find the recipe anywhere!

Thanks

No, that doesn't look like them.
If this link works, this is the photo from the Thermomix Australia website:

On the day, someone said they were Luigi's 40 second biscuits, but they don't seem to be.
In their reply, they said they were Nut Clusters.

In the photo, it is the lighter of the two biscuits on the plate. They were little balls of something, with a hazelnut in the middle.

Hundreds of them were made by all the Perth consultants, so someone must know the recipe!

Strange name for a biscuit pf, nut clusters sounds like nuts mixed with chocolate hence the link I gave you.  Even when I saw the picture you linked to, I couldn't see what I thought was a nut cluster.  Yes you are right, a consultant will surely lead you to that biscuit recipe.

I may have the recipe but will have to hunt for it as I can't remember what they are called and I don't think it was nut clusters!!!

I don't know if that is the recipe she is looking for, but it looks delicious and I am definitely going to give this one a go.

Nope.  If you check out the link pf gave, she said they were the lighter of the 2 biscuits on the plate.  The chocolate one would be the choc alternative and the big one is the cupcake.  pf wants the recipe for the one that looks like a cookie with a nut on it - by calling it an almond cluster (not pf's description but one of the consultants there on the day) it is throwing us all off on the wrong tangent.  Just shows we don't have too many consultants posting on this forum anymore - those that were there must all know where the recipe is.
