If my memory serves me correctly, this is the recipe that fizzes up if you are not careful.  I don't know how much I lost when I did it so now I mix it in a big container then pour it into the 2 litre bottle.

Mine has never fizzed, Judy, but I do recall that that has happened to somebody (or several somebodys!).  I bet if I make it in a bottle mine will fizz for the first time - Murphy's Law rules!

That Murphy's Law is a horror. It gets me very often.

Finally made this. I used a mixing bowl and only fizzed for a few seconds, then I added the rest of the ingredients. No problems

I used Miracle Spray with a scrubbie today to clean the bricks surrounding our fire place.  The scrubbie is now in tatters, but the bricks look great, the spray really cleaned out the black that had accumulated over the years in the bricks (they still have some blackness lingering, but are so, so much better than they were).  On to my windows now that it is cooling down a bit ...

Does anyone have any experience using miracle spray on wood. I'm just cautious b4 I use it on our kitchen table top which was my great grandmothers restored Blackwood table. ?? Thinking to do a patch test unless anyone has advice.

Can you do a bit underneath the table first CD? What sort of finish does the table have.   My cleaner uses a very light spray on my oak pieces with no ill effects, rather than dry dusting she likes to use a bit of moisture. I restored my pieces using a matt finish polyurethane stain.

Thanks JD. Not too sure of the finish as I think it was done b4 I was born. It's definitely a matt type. Patch test so far so good. Thanks so much for the advice.

I have just made a batch of this, and is seems very "soapy".   Do you use it like normal spray and wipe (ie spray on and wipe off with a cloth) or do you use it more as a soapy liquid cleaner that needs to be rinsed off with water afterwards?

I use this as a spray and wipe, Karen.

I used this for spot cleaning of old spots on a light coloured carpet at the weekend and it worked really well - one stain was a small soot stain, one just general every day dirt and the other four or five had been there since we bought our home 5 years ago so I have no idea what they were!  I am so happy as these stains had been driving me nuts for ages!
