Chookie, when my boys turn to young men, can I woof them over to you? Good experience, kind hosts and brilliant food :) :D
Great idea. Can my boys come too?

Kimmy, they can all have a woof fest at Chookie's :D

Morning all. We were under heavy mist most of yesterday.  Lucy and Leo  had a relaxing day.  Lucy made SD bread and like all of us could hardly wait to cut into it.  I will post a photo.  Today we are going to work on the raised garden bed.  Leo will make some Naan.  Will make a curry to go with Naan. Made Peppermint Crisp Ice Cream yesterday.  Probably pizza for lunch.
They don't want to leave and we don't want them to go.
BZB,  kids are usually much better with other people than with their parents.  I am sure they would get on well with ES kids.
Judy,  no driving Polaris.  You might like to try the tractor.  LOL

Chookie sounds like the woofers will enjoy their stay with you and Ral, you are wonderful hosts and have such a beautiful property who wouldn't want to stay.

I would like to think my DS could do a stint woofing but at 14 he seems a little afraid of hard work  ;D

Good morning all :) Up early to chat to the chooks (who are now firmly free range chookies and create a fuss if not let out early :-))) then off to an important meeting. We now get an egg from each chook each day 8).

Lucky WOOFers  at Chookies house. Sounds wonderful for all concerned. Must find out more about WOOFing.

Good morning everyone.

Is that Lucy's first experience at making bread Chookie, are they familiar with the Thermomix?  Being German, one would hope so.
How long have they been out here?

Lucy looks quite at home with the SD.

The woofers must feel like they are on holidays staying with you Chookie & Ral.
It's lovely to read what a lovely time you are all having.

Morning all.
CC,  glad you are finally going to get some fine weather.  Spring will be lovely.  We are having beautiful Autumn weather.
Judy,  no the Woofers  don't know about TMX but love it.  They will have been in Australia  for a month on Sunday.  Yesterday they helped us finish the raised garden bed and Lucy and I quickly found some Rhubarb,  silver beet, onions , parsley and variousness seed to plant.
Leo helped Ral split some fire wood with the machine.
They said they would like to stay longer,  so I rang their host family and they agreed to another day. Today more gardening and making Pasta. We made Mars Bar Ice Cream yesterday.  The Naan were a great success.
Today we are eating up leftover Pizza and curry.  Tomorrow we are all going to Kyneton Farmers Market and then to a couple of wineries and out to lunch.
