Thanks Trudes, we're really on the go now.  She'll be accepted into the care facility at 10 am tomorrow morning and I've already bought 4 carloads of house/wardrobe contents back here. She doesn't have much 'stuff' but by golly it adds up when you want to remove it.  The kids are helping out with a trailer for the remaining furniture at the weekend and we'll all get stuck into the cleaning (if I haven't done the bulk of it before then ;)).

SIL is over from Melbourne at the moment but is going back tomorrow morning so late this afternoon he's picking up Mum's 2 seater lounge to donate to the care facility for one of their visitors' rooms so that's one less thing having to go into my garage.  Every little bit of help is appreciated.

Cold one here today as well CC although no "snow" Chookie!!!  Managed to get the salvia's cut back but did feel mean as the birds were loving the flowers.

Judy, this time next week you will be done and dusted.  I hope your Mum settles in well as it makes such a difference when they are happy and want to go into care facilities.

You have been busy Judy. The sooner it's done the sooner it will be over. Best of luck to your Mum tomorrow.

Judy, I knew you would get stuck into it. There is always more stuff than expected.

Gert, more bad language coming your way.  Freezing cold with snow flurries during the day. . The gardeners went home after their soup and muffin.

Good morning friends.  Big day today,  it's amazing how a few pictures, photos, knick knacks etc can turn a basic room into a nice, homely space.  I'm a bit nervous for Mum and wonder how she's feeling at the moment.  Geoff's  sister visits on Tuesday and Mum is very fond of her so that will be a bonus on her first day.

Thinking of you and your mum and Geoff today.
It is a beautiful but cool Adelaide day so the beach will be looking beautiful.
Hope the day goes smoothly for all of you.
