Today I've spent the day cooking, probably for the first time since my hand operation I've felt like cooking. Richard is pleased!

I made sour dough bread, strawberry ice-cream, minestrone soup, spaghetti and lasagne sheets with my pasta machine, vegetarian lasagne and tonight I'm making a tuna pasta dish with the spaghetti.

My hand is coming good, although yesterday I had a scare when I took a tumble and ended up face first on the ground. Of course when you're falling the first thing you do is out your hands down to break the fall.  My hand was sore yesterday but I don't think I've done any damage thankfully. . Today the rest of my body is aching though.

I hope you have done any damage Katie; falls can be disastrous (as DH found out) so look after yourself.

What a bummer Katie. I can imagine how your body is aching, luckily the hand seemed to survive though.  You may ache for a few more days.

Hope you don't have any after effects from the fall Katie.  All the cooking sounds fine.

I'm fine really, it just surprised me how much my body is aching from it. I'll definitely try not to fall over again.

Ouch Katie. What a shock to fall over, especially with your wrist. I'm glad there are no lasting injuries.

You have been cooking up a storm.

Katie, sorry to hear you've had a fall, glad your wrist is ok though.
It's great get you've got your cooking mojo back, and what a lot you've done in one day. Bet DH IS thrilled.
CC we've had 5 days in a row over 30, cooling off tomorrow for a few days.
I stripped electric blanket off the bed and packed it away, washed doona and packed that away.

Good afternoon friends. A dull day here with a bit of rain.
The next few days are going to be fine and sunny so I'm going to clean and repaint the back deck after I pick-up DH from the hospital.  :D
