Hi friends.
A cold start to the day here but it looks as though the sun is breaking through. :) A good walk with Chance.I met a fellow dog walker this morning with her two dogs Spider and Taffy. Also spoke to a couple of gardeners who were setting up for their days work.

We see lots of dog walkers on our morning walk CC. Even though we don't have a dog (1 spoilt cat), we enjoy watching them, all shapes and sizes. Now the weather is warming up some of them enjoy swimming in the river. There are a few designated areas where dogs are allowed to swim. Very cute.

Morning all.
Beautiful sunny morning here. The bad bush fires north of us are well under control.

Chookie I am pleased that the bushfires are under control. it is pouring with rain here after our very warm days. I guess it is spring after all.

Cookie we haven't had any rain here up in the North of the State (just a few miles from you); send some up.

I am starting to pack for Tassie (at the same weekend as your FF trip) and I don't know what to pack either; after everyone here telling me how cold it gets I lashed out and bought some winter clothes (I don't use many winter clothes here in Perth) and now it looks like I might need summer ones. Decisions, decisions.

Troupie you must be getting excited.

Uni I'm waiting until I can check out the forecast before I think about clothes. I'm bringing mainly jeans and tops.

If the current weather pattern carries through to next week you will have to pack for all weather conditions.  It is totally unpredictable at the moment, although warming up, it can be 30+ one day and drop down to high teens low 20s the next.  Judy did a minimum / maximum forecast a day or two ago, I have just had a look at this again and the min / max temperatures, starting at today and going through to next Wednesday are:

18 / 34 sunny
20 / 26 rain
12 / 20 showers
9 / 20 sunny
10 / 26 cloudy
15 / 25 rain
13 / 21 rain

And the longer range forecast is indicating the possibiilty of showers throughout the FF weekend.  So, there you have it, typical Melbourne weather in a nutshell!
