Katj, I am deeply saddened by your news but so relieved that your family have come through and are still with us.

Good morning everyone.  Going to be a hot day here today.

Such sad news Katj, I am so glad that your family are ok.

Morning everyone, thankful for a better nights sleep from my Bub.  I think he had a reaction from his immunisation the previous night. Still I really can't complain as it was the first time in 6 months I couldn't console him. My DH and DD have had a very nasty gastro, DD hasn't been to work all week.

Good morning everyone and thank you all for you kind thoughts.
The weather in Esperance looks more favourable today, so hopefully they will succeed in getting fires under control.
DS & BIL doing ok at the moment. Like all country people they will battle on, just thankful to be safe.
Our thoughts now turn to South Aust, catastrophic fire danger there today.
Stay safe everybody!

I hate fire, probably as a result of growing up and seeing them round all the time in the summer. It is so devastating.

Bedlam I do hope your family recover quickly. Being ill isn't much fun at all.

Wow, snow CC. It is an exciting thing for us West Aussies.

Morning all.
Bedlam hope the gastro goes quickly.
Glad to see the fire in WA have subsided.
Cooler here today and thinking of CC and possibility of snow.  Lovely.
Uni, frozen cucumber dip!  Think it would need something like chick pes or cashier nuts to soak up the water. Otherwise mix with yoghurt and eat like ice cream. Nice idea as cucumbers are said to be very good for you.
