Morning all.
Nice cool change came through over night. No rain.
At the moment we are listening to Kookaburra parents trying to teach their baby to laugh. Lovely.

Good morning everyone.  After 2 very hot days it's lovely to have a big drop in temperature and light rain falling.
I love kookaburras Chookie although they do seem to start 'laughing' a little too early in the morning for my liking.

Astarra I feel for the child. I used to suffer awfully from homesickness.

I'm another one who loves the kookaburras laugh. We don't really have many in the city. Imagine someone being low enough to try to scam people with driving infringements. What next?

Much to my chagrin, I once got a ‘red light’ ticket and it was accompanied by a link to prove that it was my car (sadly, it was genuine and I have no excuse for what I did).

Anyway, we get countless scam emails in our office every week and I have found the best way to check for scams is, if you are unsure (and you should ALWAYS be unsure!), take a look at the email address of the sender – for every type of scam the email address will not be a relevant to the company / office / institution sending the email, i.e. a parking ticket may come from an address like parking fine @leviathan.com … or something like that.  So, if you are unsure, just take a look at the email address and it will be pretty clear as to whether or not you are being scammed.  Spelling and grammatical errors are also a great give away that you've got a scam.

A damp start to the day but the sun broke through the clouds this afternoon.

Morning all
Lovely cool day here.
GD coming to spend a day or 2. She said she will redraw my Avatar. She did the original one when she was 5. She is now 14.
DD rang to invite us for dinner last night. We were on our way back from Cherokee. We had Turkey and Pav. The turkey she cooked all day in SC and the Pavs were individual ones the size of a large tea cup. Not a bad idea for Xmas day.
Thanks for all the advice about the scams.

Good morning everyone, all alone here again as my grand-dog has gone home after spending a couple of nights with me whilst their house was being painted. I have to share this beautiful photo I managed to get of him last night before they arrived.

Can't wait to see your new avatar Chookie, I wonder if it will be an updated version of the original.  It was a very unique avatar and I can understand you wanting it back.

Good morning everyone. A lovely sunny warm to hot day here in Perth today.
Judy your little G doggy is adorable, that pic would make a lovely Christmas card.
Chookie, mini pave sound like a good idea, maybe some bowls of options in the table, everyone can decorate their own.
There is just so many lovely recipes now, it's all a bit overwhelming trying to decide. I keep changing my mind. Lol
