Good morning Everyone.
Looks like a lovely day in Perth today, not too hot. We had our eldest grandson over on Saturday for a sleepover. He was so excited and had been counting the sleeps since it was arranged a week ago.
He spent a good part of the morning in the pool with DH. After lunch we did several puzzles and watched Jungle Book in 3D.(with popcorn of course). We took him to Sizzler for dinner (his choice). He was dead to the world by 8.
Cookie, I hadn't heard of the My Fitness Pal app, will check it out.
I agree that a Diabetic Thermomix cookbook would be great. We are not diabetics, but most of the recipes are just good well balanced meals which a lot of non- diabetics can use.

Sounds like a nice day with GS Katj.  I used to enjoy Sizzler but we haven't had them here for a long time now.

It sounds like you had fun Katj. Swimming always seems to wear kids out as well.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Good morning everyone, 39 expected here today before the temperatures drop tomorrow.  Enjoy your break Chookie, just what you need.

Telstra man has been early this morning so everything seems to be working OK again. I was the last one in the street to get their phone and internet back.  Now the darn printer won't work nor will the remote control life one of the shutters - tried putting a new battery in it but still no go.  There's always got to be something to sort out doesn't there!

Good afternoon everyone.  35 deg here.

Judy, my printer has gone out in sympathy with yours.  It worked yesterday, just not today. >:( >:(

I find that happens here too Margaret, it will print normally for ages then decides to go on strike at any time it desires. I'll try again tomorrow.

We are all so reliant on modern technology when something goes it is so very annoying and frustrating.  Hope you sort everything out soon Judy.

Enjoy your break Chookie and Ral, you need it! - hope it's not too hot for you.

Have a lovely break Chookie and Ral, I hope it is cooler down there for you. We are having another quite pleasant day, I think it is going to be 31 or 33, not sure which. We have been generally lucky while you poor people have sweltered. Take care.

I just used the printer, I'm glad it's not joining others on strike. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hi friends.
Have a lovely time Chookie and Ral :-*

A misty start to the day here but apparently the sun will make an appearance sometime later. A muddy walk with Chance after all that rain yesterday.

I hope your printers kick into action soon Judy and Margaret. ;)

Morning all.
We are in a 'cheap' motel in Ocean Grove. Nothing is really cheap in bayside holiday spots. However it is clean and has basic facilities like tea making jug and tea bags, microwave etc.The owner switched on the AC before we arrived, very nice. Was 35.
Today is perfect, 24 degrees. DS and family have a lovely cabin , one removed from where they made the TV series ' Sea Change' , this is now a Cafe.
The family will go swimming, surfing and snorkelling while we will do a little walk along the beach and then enjoy the view from their veranda.
