Enjoy your break away Chookie, it sounds lovely!
Not much going on here today, just put away grocery shopping and enjoying a cuppa with a piece of toast and hone made nut paste. Yum!

That sounds blissful Chookie. You don't need anything posh when you will be spending most of your time with the family. I loved Sea Change.

Hi friends.
A very frosty start to the day here.Very hard underfoot walking Chance. We only managed a shorter walk because I forgot to take my dog whistle with me. :-)) He's such an active dog that I need it to recall him at times if I think he's going too far or I lose sight of him.

Your holiday sounds idyllic Chookie.Have a good time with your family :-*

Morning all.
Another beautiful day here at Barwon Heads. It is so nice being by the water. Went out for Dinner last night with family to celebrate our 53 rd.  Weddding anniversary.
We return today to Invermay.
Back nearly better.

Obbie, 2 of our GC go to Seconday School this year and are really looking forward to it.

Good morning everyone.  Sun is shining but the wind is cool.

Your holiday sounds lovely Chookie.  Congratulations to you both on your 53rd Wedding Aniversary.

Hi friends.
Happy Wedding Anniversary Chookie and Ral. You are a lovely couple. :-*

Another frosty start to the day here.A good walk with Chance but still hard on the feet because the ground was frozen. For some reason this morning my socks kept falling down in my wellies. :-))

I imagine that the socks falling down wouldn't be a nice feeling CC. I remember as a kid sometimes my socks would slip down into my shoe.

We had a breezy day here, but lovely and cool.

Morning all.
It is cool and raining. Lovely.
Thanks for all the good wishes for our Anniversary.

Good morning everyone.  Another doosie of a storm last night, these events are quite commonplace here nowadays.  Enjoy your Friday.

... We have a massive crop of small green apples and the parrots and white cockatoos are having a great time eating some and knocking lots off the tree.

We have the same problem, however I have managed to get some plums off the trees and hope they don't see our greengages, but they are having a field day with our apples and just starting on our crab apples as well ... the pears will be next.  For the first time we have got nectarines and peaches, but I don't imagine they will be "allowed" to ripen either!  Ah well, I try to be philosophical, they were here first after all and they have to eat ... but do they have to eat MY fruit?????
