Thanks K Atie.  Will try your suggestion.
Cool here today.  Good weather for gardening.
Have been reading some interesting info about SD.  Will test what I have read and pass on if successful.

That sounds like a good idea K Atie, or maybe CD's hung to turn and glint. Certainly easier than netting.

Dam too big to net.  Will try the foil chimes.  Had thought to use the Scarecrow.  Would need to shift it around every day.
Question!  How do you know when your starter is ready to use. Feed it , give it a good stir,  wait awhile , sniff it,  lots of bubbles so it must be ready.  NO.
Fill a glass with cold water.  Drop a full teaspoon of starter in and if it floats it is ready.  If it sinks to the bottom of the glass it is  either not ready or has passed its peak.
If you use the starter when it is not ready , it produces a flat topped loaf.

Hi friends,
Walked in mizzle this morning with Chance. We met a new Cocker Spaniel puppy called Rolo. He was very cute. Chance wasn’t impressed LOL.

Morning all.
CC, I had to smile.  Bet the puppy was cute.
It is very dry.  Not much rain in the foreseeable future. BIL who grows veggies is not planting any this Summer.  Lack of water as they are on tanks.
Town water was a big factor when we bought at Invermay. We also have tanks.

Good morning everyone, looks like a nice day here.
Chance is a funny boy Denise, he obviously just wants to do his own thing and not stop to meet other dogs. Puppies are all so cute.
I’m not looking forward to summer Chookie apart from the fact it will be nice to wear lighter clothes and eat salads.

Thanks. I wasn’t aware of this, all I have to do now is remember to try it.

A very rainy day here today. We lit the fire tonight to take the chill off the air.
