After a couple of dry days it’s raining, again🙄

No toilet roll paper here either. Shelves containing dried pasta, bread flour, canned goods, frozen foods, Ibuprofen and Paracetamol are bare. Supermarket online shopping slots are fully booked out until the middle of April.

It is being considered that everyone over the age of 70 will be asked to stay at home, maybe for 4 months,

Well done Cookie DD.
We are in lockdown. If we get stir crazy we will go for a drive or walk in the park. I could always do some house work and cleaning.  On the bottom of list.

I am gunna be quite firm here Chookie. REMOVE CLEANING FROM YOUR LIST!!

Gert
I had a giggle at this Gert.😁

At least you had a bit of a breather between the rain Cornish. Must be getting on your nerves now.  Hopefully not too much longer, your new house will seem like a mansion!  ;D

Ouch, Denise. I don't know if I could stay home for 4 months.
Our social life has been curtailed. Both our car clubs have suspended runs and coffee get togethers for the foreseeable future. We had a BBQ run on for this Saturday night but that has been cancelled too.

Yes, could be 4 months.  That is a long time .
Today sunny and warm.  Chooks and gardening. Washing. Definitely no cleaning.  :D

We heard this morning that our house delivery/build has been postponed. It looks as though we are facing more months ahead in our van.

I had a sneaking suspicion that might happen, Denise.  That is such a huge disappointment but I guess the bright side is that the weather is (hopefully) improving so the caravan will be more tolerable and pleasant to live in in the warmer and drier days ahead.

Oh Den, that must be devastating to you both.  After all the setbacks and delays you are being dealt another blow.  You’ve been strong throughout though so I hope you can still continue to be so.  We’re on different sides of the world but we’re all facing a problem, some more than others of course.  Sending love and hugs from Australia.

It's raining here. Very nice, although it is going to heat up to about 30-32 over the weekend.

It's going to be 38 here on Thursday before cooling down to the low 20's.  Hopefully that will be it.  :D

Julie, that's too hot for me.

I'm having a lot of computer problems here.  I have spent half a day talking with my provider without much luck.  Will try something else again tomorrow.

I had 2 ladies stop me in the street today to offer me some toilet paper.  As I have managed to buy some I just thanked them and said I was fine.

The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

This morning when I started off from home to drive to the beach, (still dark with a bit of light at the horizon), at the end of my street where I turn right, I couldn't believe it when I saw 2 beautiful big grey roos bounding down the footpath to the right.   I let them go so they would be in front of me and followed them slowly.  My headlights illuminating them as they hopped along.  We got to the end of the street, they turned right towards the bush.  I stopped for a moment and watched them hop away.  I then turned left and carried on my way to the beach.  It was such a beautiful thing to happen, really magical.  ;D

At the beach it was quite warm, only 20C but it was quite dense and I think every fly in SA was there.  The only time they didn't bother me was when I was doing my running stints, but as soon as I went back to my walk, they were all over me, horrible things.  Tomorrow is going to be about 25 at the same time, so I have made the executive decision to have tomorrow morning off instead of Sat or Sunday this week.  It will be around 15 on Friday so that will be great.  ;D
