You will find your new you Judy. Life goes on. We manage. We explore. We reinvent. The memories do not fade and sometimes become more acute but we are women so we do what we do and carry on. You now have freedom to think about what you want. Maybe nothing. Maybe something. All will be revealed with time.

Yes indeed Gert but I need the borders to open before I can really spread my wings, not ready for that just yet though.
Thank you cookie and Michele.

My heart goes out to you Judy, a peaceful end after a long life for your mum. Much love from DH and myself.

Taking DH to the doctor this morning. He must be feeling bad as he has agreed to go.

Thank you to you both Marina.
I hope DH is OK Margaret, you’re right though - men are hard to get to go to a doctor.
I’ve just been notified that my bathroom makeover is now able to be started on Monday, with the walling stuck in a ship in Melbourne for weeks I was beginning to think it was never going to be done.

Morning all.
Mab, hope all went well with DH at Dr.
Looks like an early Winter has hit us.
My fruit and Veggie order from Wilsons came yesterday. It is a real surprise box. Love it. I’m able to stretch it out to 10 days.

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts for DH. He has a very nasty kidney & bladder infection and is now in our local hospital for a couple of days. He has another problem that is quite common in men his age and that will need to be investigated once the infection is cleared up. I saw him this morning and he looks a lot better than he did last night.

We had a dreadful storm here Tuesday night. It blew a gale all night and then all of yesterday as well. Thankfully no major damage here but friends lost fences and had enormous pots overturned.
I didn’t sleep much Tuesday night and kept waking DH to ask “what was that Big Bang?” He wasn’t impressed.
It’s all calm today and feels weird as it’s s quiet without the wind.
