Interesting visit to dietitian yesterday.  She said our diet is good.  Serves probably too large. Cut down salt. Add 1 tablespoon of psyllium husks daily.
We are having a run of about a week of cold weather. Weird but not complaining.

When I set my Blog up it was as a place to record my favourite recipes that I had developed or adapted to TMX.  I don’t interact  with anyone who uses my recipes. However, I can see which recipes are the most used. 3300 people have looked at the recipe for Bread rolls, mixed in the TMX and baked in AF. I don’t regard this a my favourite recipe so wondered why. I asked Google and there is only one other recipe for bread rolls in the AF.

Mr Google is so good isn’t he/she?

Judy, that is good. Dietitian said can increase slowly to 2 tablespoons.

I’m very excited. I have just made a batch of Soft and light Brioche buns and baked them in the AF.
 Pre heat AF 160 degrees/ 3 minutes.
Set at 160 degrees and bake 10 minutes for medium size rolls.
12 minutes for large hamburger buns. .
Perfect.

You sound like us Chookie. A very healthy diet but maybe the serves are too large. I find it hard to reduce serving sizes though, I just eat too much. I’ve had a spoon of physllium husks on my cereal for years now.

Today's tomato pick.

I just visited a friend who gave me a bag of home grown peaches, one thing I can quite easily eat.  You’re dead right cookie, there’s nothing like home grown fruit and veggies.

Yes as long as they’re fully ripe cookie. I’ve had nectarines, peaches, apricots and mango plus I can eat bananas and canned prunes so a pretty good selection.   Seeing as I’ve got off custard and yoghurt it’s nice to have fruit in the house now.

I have recently started having fruit smoothies, Judy, a couple of pieces of whatever fruit combination is at hand. I add cashews for smoothness and protein, not sure if you can do that, although, from the sounds of your soup recipe it may be OK, then I zap the lot with water in my nutribullet as that is more effective than the TMX for this. I take about 15 minutes to drink it and it is very satisfying - nice light and tasty.  You could probably put psyllium husks in it, hemp seeds, chia, anything like that that you can cope with.

They sound very nice Marina. I enjoy smoothies but would usually prefer to sit down and eat what goes in them.

I have added psyllium husks to a few smoothies Marina but it spoils a drink that I would normally really enjoy.  I prefer to drink it in a glass of water and get it over with LOL.  The base of my smoothies is Sustagen and there is everything I need in that, I drink 800 mls a day of it.

My problem is that I wouldn't sit and eat the fruit itself, Cookie, I can easily zap 5-6 fruits in a smoothie and drink them because I don't have to eat the whole fruit, I can control the portion size and that works well for me.

Very hot again today before cool change.  The new fan in bedroom is fantastic. Ha.
Solar panels are covering the AC.
Hope to finish typing up Bostonian recipes.
