It was 34 deg here at 9:30 this morning.

GD went home to Qld yesterday.  It was lovely to catch up with her and her BF, a very nice young man.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

A good way to get lots of fruit Marina.
Keep cool folks. We are having a couple of cooler days.

It’s been raining in Adelaide for 3 hours or so and is teeming at present.  We haven’t had rain for months so I’m loving it as is my garden.

Judy how lovely. We haven’t had rain for a long time. I hope it helps with the fire up in the hills.

It has to help if it’s this heavy cookie, a little late for many property owners though.

35 degrees yesterday.  Cool change lovely.  Was going to put off making plum and raspberry jam because it was so hot but when the cool change came through, went ahead. Might make some plum sauce today.
We have been having the Fruit Vinegar as a long drink.  Just with ice blocks and filtered water.
Finished typing up the Bostock recipe on my blog. Looks complicated, but actually easy. Nice to have as a treat with a cup of tea or coffee, or served with stewed fruit. I cut down the sugar.

We had snow the beginning of the week but the rain has melted it all.

Has been raining heavily overnight.  Garden could do with a good soaking.  The tomatoes are slow to ripen but I have been making green Tom salad. Plenty of Zuchinni.
With all the plum cooking, not much time for the garden.

Does your DH get fed up with all the rain and it holding his harvest up KAtie?

Round 34 here today and heating up more in the next few days. I think the weather on rv last night said a week of above 35.

Cookie DH works so hard and such long hours at this time of the year , so it just gives him a break but shearing is delayed too as so wet. There is always something to do , wish it was not so busy but we went shopping for shearing!! Must have jinxed it .

Rained all day yesterday.  20 degrees today, little rain.
More plum cooking.  Made plum sauce in TMX.  Needed to adjust the flavour.  Today plum leather.
Ral is using the empty vinegar bottles to make fly traps.
