Good news about Ral’s platelet result Chookie.
Horrible weather here at the monument. Stormy.

Cookie you are my inspiration. You have done so well managing your Diabetes without drugs.
CC, we always watch your weather forecast.  You do cop some awful weather, but then so do we.
Perfect Autumn day today.

I feel very honoured Chookie. I growled at my younger brother for many years that he eats lollies etc when diabetic, so I had to be a little bit good. I know I will need medication one day.

It has been a beautiful day here, warm and sunny. However they tell us that the next 2 days won't be very nice. There may even be snow on the Stirling Ranges. We have a long run on Sunday about 150km each way. We are taking the EJ Holden, it will be faster and dryer, not to mention warmer.

We have the rain they have been forecasting. It’s slow and steady so that’s good.

A gift from a chap who is on our peninsular’s local FB group who makes sourdough loaves. He was gifted a few things from me when I had a good clear out of items I didn’t use or need and it was when he collected the first gift that he talked about just starting to get into sourdough making. He offered me a loaf then but I was in the middle of radiation treatment at the time and bread was not something I could eat for ages. He told me to let him know when I was ready for a small cob but in the meantime started making yoghurt as well so I did try that. I decided it was time to give it a go, knowing it would taste better than the wholemeal bread I’d been using in B & B puddings. So here it is, I had a slice with jam and cream after lunch. I had a little bit of crust which was lovely and crunchy and very difficult to eat but overall I managed to get it down with a lot of water in between bites. It will mostly go into my B & B puddings as that is the easiest way for me to eat it.

How lovely Judy. I’m pleased that you managed some crust. SD crusts are usually very hard.

The bread looks very nice.  B&B pudding is always nice and a real comfort food in this cold weather.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

It's freezing here today. (for a West Aussie) It's just after 11am and is 14*. The sun is shining but there is a chilling wind.
