Not above 8 here today. A week of rain and winds.
Judy, that is a beautiful loaf.  Glad you could enjoy some.
Had my first consultation with Diabetes nurse today.  All going well.

Chookie, it’s certainly stay at home weather now, I rather like it but I do have to rug up. I love the sound of rain on the roof.
It was nice to have the chance to try something different Chookie, I toasted a piece to have with soup last night but that was even harder to eat than when it was fresh.  I’ll use the rest in B & B puddings, will try a savoury one next.

7 degrees here, cold and lots of rain with strong winds forecast for later on.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I have my 6 monthly check with the diabetes nurse coming up.
It's wet and cold here too. (max 16)
The brickies were to finish the brickwork on DD's house today. I'm not sure if they worked in the rain or not.

You’ve got to feel sorry for outdoor workers in this weather, a delivery of hot soup rather than cake or cookies would have been in order today.

G S is an apprentice electrician.  He told us that yesterday he wore 7 layers of clothing.
Cookie, good luck for your check up.
Trees down everywhere.  Cold and raining.

Cold and wet here but at least the wind has eased for the moment.  Lots of flooding here and further up the valley.  DS lost a couple of trees in the strong winds.

I've just been reading about the wild weather over there. It doesn't sound like much fun. Wet and cool here today.

I noticed that some members have been making a couple of my Blog recipes.  I set up my Blog as a way of saving recipes that I have developed.  However anyone has access to it. I am fascinated by the recipes that prove popular. I thought I would share the all time favourites and those from last week. They ar not what I expected.
