Fingers crossed.....Uni deserves a good night sleep.

I've been up for a while, brat boy rang at five...he is now in Liverpool.  They went there via Oxford and apparently he fell in love with the library there.  I have just finished reading the fifty shades of grey trilogy since I was awake anyway....I'm trying to figure out what the big deal about the books is...they were okay but I wouldn't rave about them, but then I didn't rave about the twilight books either.  I think I'll stick to sci if/fantasy,

I'm with you, Obbie, school holidays are great for slower mornings....I don't even feel guilty for getting to work later.  I'm sitting enjoying a latte with my husband and then I'm going to have a leisurely shower and then be driven to work.  Life is good!

Stacelee, I agree about the fifty Shades trilogy - if I ever read the words Smirk, Oh My, et al again it will be too soon.  I'm with you re. sci fi / fantasy.

I think if I am going to read romance I am more of a Barbara Cartland type of person.  They were a little to hard core for me....I kept "skipping" through some of the more descriptive stuff.  I read for escapism and they just didn't hit that note.  My husband reads crime and thriller novels and has loaned me some of his books but I never get more than a couple of chapters into them.  I do however read historical fiction....and lots of scifi/fantasy.

How are you now, Uni??  That's a very nasty thing to happen - hope nothing is broken or bruised . . .
