Oh no!   What a nasty fall - sounds very painful.   Could it be  a  damaged rib making it hurt to breathe?   Hope you get it all checked out and recover quickly.

I am watching to see just what uni is going to do. She can't do much at this time of day but after the morning  rush uni and if you are still having trouble breathing while you are  upright you should go to your local hospital as you WILL NEED an X-ray. It the breathing is ok then you should still,go but at a slower pace as you could have a hairline fracture of your rib or ribs  but possible just bruising.  If it was a full on fracture then you would certainly know it and would not be sitting at a computer.

An X-ray is definitely on the cards even though it will be an utter pain in the ass and will probably take up a few hours sitting in a waiting room. Take a book.

I see you are off-line now Uni, that is good.  Hopefully it means that you are getting everything checked up.  Gert got in with her 'lecture' before I could threaten you with her name to try to motivate you to get to A&E or your GP (sorry about that comment, Gert, hope you don't mind me using your influence in that way).

You do so much each day you must surely be run down as well, please, please, please take time to rest now, I know it's not easy, when you are so busy, but there comes a time when you have to take time for yourself to just cut down for a while - take it from someone who has gone through it before!

Good morning all.  Can you believe Uni actually reported all the spamming posts to me this morning before she told us about her fall.
What a trooper she is and by the looks of it, she has been taken off to have everything checked out.  Poor, dear Uni - we feel your pain and hope your problem is soon sorted and you are back to your usual self.  We all love you and want the best for you  :-* :-*

Retired Amy. mcmich is a current and there are others here as well. We also have some doctors here but let us hope they don't announce it or they could be inundated.  We have had a vet or two plus vet nurses and lots and lots of teachers. Some possibly famous radio and TV personalities. Plenty in retail of one sort or another. Other health care workers. Some old retired  and some just retired. Lots and lots of stay at home parents. Some students like you Amy. I wonder how many  with unusual occupations?

In other words we come from all walks of life at all stages of life and from many social and economic backgrounds. Some are fat and some or slim. Some are fantastic cooks and others, like me, not so much but we have one common bit we all love and love our thermal cooking machines. Even though this is a Thermomix forum it seems all are welcome and we all seem to contribute. Some, of course, like you Amy a lot more than others. LOL!

Let us hope that uni has gone to get and X-ray.

In regard to spamming, in case you are curious to know why they do it I think this should explain it in a simple manner.

" spam messages are not meant to be read by humans, but are instead posted to increase the number of hyperlinks to a particular web site, to boost its search engine ranking. "

They seem to have ways and means of avoiding detection from the normal security measures taken by our MM when he approves new members.

Thank you to all those who see and report the spam as quickly as possible.
