GD just called and said she wants to come here after college and cook some of the lamb for dinner
Suits me fine today as I have to take my mum shopping and also babysitting GD 9 months

We have 3 freezers too.
Used to be beef, lamb and pork with bread & veggies.
Now two beef, one everything else. Had a whole heifer back in August.
Not full but easier to find things. All bought on  eBay, around 30 to 50£ each few years ago.

Just had another roller coaster for 36 hours.
DH was interviewed for job in Canada.
However once we looked into it thoroughly we decided it was not for us and he will withdraw from the process before it goes further.
However because he was called and interviewed we have hopes for another job he really wants. Apparently lots of speculative applications but few real candidates so hoping this is same for this other job. He deserves some thing really good.
We decided a one year contract in a tiny tiny place in the northern prairies was not for us at this time of life. The houses looked similar on google to basic outback section built houses i stayed in in early 1980's but with temps of -17 in jan/feb and six months snow.

Slept better last night once that was decided. No sleep the night before.

Right back to unpacking the bathroom stuff and bake a cake. 
I Lost my motivation totally yesterday at the thought of wilderness living. 30 years ago maybe, but not now. We'd like to work and settle, grow veggies and have a calmer life, am devoted to my DH and would follow him anywhere..... If I had to move countries NZ my first choice everytime, but no jobs there.

My DH is devastated every time he returns home.

Edit: sadly had email the  job he really wanted has come back as no interview.
 Now seriously DH considering setting up as consultant.


Second edit: Wales now back in loop after hearing nothing for two weeks.

i have 2 weddings to go 2 ,1 on friday and the other on saturday  driving down to wollongong 2morrow and staying over night then drive back for the sat one, i really hope we back it back in time

Morning all.  Have a nice day.  Love freezers,  have 3 trying to empty one but it keeps filling up.  Saw a large leg of lamb at the Farmers market for $52 .   Was beautiful ,  but so expensive. MF,  make sure your cheap lamb is well hung before you freeze it.  Love GD.

Good morning,I'm having a leisurely breakfast in the sun, I have a fruit cake in the oven so not entirely lazy.
