Can't see why not as they don't rise very much even with SR flour. :) They will probably be a bit more sticky when cutting them.

Bit excited, baby Louis turned up 6 weeks early, healthy but small and he and mum doing ok. Won't confuse you all by trying to explain the family connection (families are like that these days).  Anyway I am a sort of step grandma thingy

Congratulations step Grandma. Glad that baby Louis is doing well. :D

Morning all. I actually got a little sun burnt yesterday while spending the day in the garden. Was a glorious day here in Tassie :)

Morning Kim.You're up with the sun ;D

Yes cant seem to help it..ds starts his first day of school in oz today.. Excited and nervous for him.. Dd cant start until 2014 which is ridiculous.. We have to write à letter to régional director as only option kindy which is à glorified garderie.. She is used to doing work and attending normal school hours so not good for her.. Kindy here is à five day fortnight and based around play.. Very frustrating

The weather looks like crap this morning. But at least I got all the lawns done and caught up on the washing yesterday :)

How old is DD Frozzie ?

She is 4... Its à bad âge for her to change systèmes.. We asked for her to be able to enrôl next year in prép. But as she is born after june they say no.. Our prob is the kindy up here is just way too focused on learning to learn and being around other kids etc which she already knows and was doing more serious work but its à very diff system even for ds who Will end year 1... I saw the preps playing with playdoh and blocks which they dont do on the school where hé was but focused on maths, grammar, music, reading etc.. No play in class time.. Its going take some adapting .. I just hope they dont get bored as they are used to being pushed.. Dont know that we have much choice and this is just à first impression from what i was shown..
