Frozzie, dh must be home at last
DJ, sounds wonderfil, hope its viable, dont rely on b&b as  the main income, tourist  industry very fickle. We have a holiday home which if were lucky breaks even but more often than not runs at a loss atm.

They sound like very wise words from Hally.

I would think having an alternative income would be vital.  Is there some sort of home internet based business you could run as well, that would give you flexibility with your hours.  Perhaps DH could set up a consultancy of some sort?  Maybe you could become a TMX distributor?  Can you train sheep / cattle dogs?  If you have sheep, can you spin and dye your own wool for sale - or better yet, knit something to sell at markets?

Hello again.
DH coming home tomorrow I think.  :D but now says away again next week  >:(

Hope Frozzie you are blissfully  reunified  ;)

Lovely pic CC. Great to see you in person. How was your day? Do tell.

Looked at TMx but requires too much expense at present and not sure consultancy is for me. I could sell it yes, easily, but sticking to the rules and regs not so sure.

Going to see another house Saturday. We need comparisons.

Cuilidth Too slow at knitting. Too slow now to train dogs, did it in my youth. Need to be able to run at the start. It's risky too, the dogs are so varied.

Expect things will happen just would like to be settled. Sooner settled sooner we can build a new life. Apologies for my impatience and frustrations of the current situation.

I'm sure Kim and her DH are finally reunited - we probably won't hear from her for a few days  ;)

DJ, it sounds as if you need to call in the 'Escape to the Country' people - they will find you exactly what you want and those of us who watch the programme on Foxtel could follow your journey.  Love that show and the opportunities that people are able to find with the help of the programme.  Good luck with your search.

CC, loved the photo - thanks for sharing it with us - you all look much younger than I envisaged.
