Tomorrow DD and I go to carpet and then curtain place to take samples back. Hopefully not too dear when calculated as we found some suitable and lovely things.
Went to the market - Hoover bag man on holiday..... Try another little town tomorrow, if not then eBay but I need them now.

I love the Aga DJ.  One of my earliest memories is of visiting a great uncle and his family about 1 farm away and they had an Aga. They used charcoal in it as coal was impossible to get out in the bush. I'm not sure where they got the charcoal, unless they made their own.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

In the early 80,s I stayed at a sheep station somehwere Not far from Canberra and thy had an Aga, I think it was oil.

Good afternoon from Tuscany  :D
Just had a call from my DD to tell me my GD 18 has just been told she has to fill in the paperwork to join the Australian National team of junior chefs up to age 24. They  interviewed her last month after watching her in competition they called her today to say she is now part of the team of 8. They are off to Korea next month.  I am so happy and proud of her and want  to share with everyone  ;D
