Morning ppl. It is 0530 in front of the fireplace in a cottage  built in the 1860’s in the town of Sorell in Tasmania. Slept well after a feast of Tassie salmon and Bruny Island Oysters. Ate an obscene  number of them freshly shucked.

No other bugger is out of bed and I want  everyone up so I can take  a walk around  the place. My friends have a. Wonderful garden  of every kind of vegetable and fruit trees . The roses are spectacular . The chook house I could live in. Unfortunately it is still dark here  and I expect freezing outside while I sit here I my short sleeved tunic toasting.

GF that was a great job done well. I know how  difficult some councils are including Pittwater. Where I  lived.  Any tree felling or lopping usto had to be done at dusk on a Fri night with all evidence  removed by dark or you would find a council officer on your doorstep!

Goodmorning everyone,  ;D Glad you slept well Gert and hope by now you are back to being warm.  That cottage sounds wonderful.   Looks like another wet day here.
Thinking of the people in Sydney today, stay safe and I hope those strong winds don't eventuate

Morning all. GF ,  great job done.  Pays to look after the tradies.   We cut down several trees that would have fallen on the house in big winds.  Council fined us $500.
Gert,  that sounds lovely.  Keep warm.  Have a terrific time.
CC and DJ,  we thought we were in England last night as we had so much rain.
Off to Melb today , blood tests.  Would you believe this, the specialist rang Ral last night to see how he was going.
Feeling for those NSW people today.  If in doubt,  leave.

Next year for forumfest Bedlam? Keep me company.

Gert did you take a jumper or jacket?

Chookie that is mean of the council. I can imagine that the $500 was worth it.
There are lots of large trees at the car club. Some time ago they had a dreadful storm go through there. The local council were amazed at the number of trees that were blown down! The guys removed all signs of the chain sawn ones before the council could come down! Naughty boys.  8) 8)
