I also found it hard to get on the forum this morning as well - perhaps the whole system is overloaded with everyone sending NY greetings.

Uni, hope the news is more hopeful when you get home.  Hugs to you both

Hello all, I was unable to raise the forum.... Emailed CC.
We both thought it was good we weren't desperate for recipes... I don't have any hard copies...
Have a great 2014 everyone, good health and happiness to all.

Happy Ne Year everyone. Not much sleep for me, our older dog was restless all night and no matter where I put him he just kept barking. Doing nothing today ahead of a a few very hectic weeks for us. My busiest period at work and DH is working setting up all the plants for the Australian open so they'll be working without a break until it starts.

That must be a huge job, Wonder.  The thought of the logistics alone is overwhelming much less ensuring that everything is where it is meant to be, when it is meant to be there!

Happy New Year everyone. I was as.e by 10.30 last night. At midnight some people down the street let crackers off and cheered but apart from that nothing. Just how I like it.

I dropped DD off at at party and she said she may call hopefully before midnight for a lift home  :o so I stayed up until midnight and then promptly fell into a deep sleep only to be woken at 2:30am by her for a lift home. I dragged myself out of bed and picked her up and then couldn't get back to sleep until about 4:30am when my DS in the eastern states sent an early morning New Year text message (7:30am for him) and then I just dozed until about 8am. Funnily enough, I'm not that tired but not bursting with energy either. Had a party to go to last night, but didn't want to wake up hungover cos I always tend to overdo these things so I opted for the free taxi driver duty instead. I may have grown up last year  :D
