Morning Everyone,
Hugs for you Uni, hope he improves in rehab.
Looks beauiful Chookie, glad you are enjoying relaxing holiday.
DJ, looks like terrific earth to me, i love the colour, mud or not. Living in a sand pit here.  We have to try and build it up with organic matter.
All goes well atm.
Have a great day everyone.
X

It is great soil, I remember the red mud from being a tiny child living over this way.
However the erosion and leaching is bad.

I have been given plants but the border is swimming in water so will have to wait!

Nice to hear from those away, touching base so that we all know what is happening is great.

Uni, I hope FIL can do what is expected of him to be able to go home and not into a nursing home. I'm sure once in rehab, they will spend more time helping him do for himself, (hospitals do very little of that) and MIL may be asked to take a back step for a while so that they can do what they are trained for.

Beautiful view Chookie, so relaxing sitting there with a cuppa or something stronger.

It certainly is wet underfoot DJ, looks a bit like chocolate  ;D

All the best Yvette, any improvement or diagnosis of DH yet?

Enjoy the beach Obbie, I've noticed you've been having a lot of rain up there lately.

I had a sleep in, first on in ages I must have needed it.
The house is so quite everyone is back at work, I'm loving being the only one still on holidays.

Love the view Chookie it just beautiful.
Hope thing have improved for your DH Yvette, and that you are ok.
DJ that looks very wet underfoot, hope it stops raining for awhile so it can dry out a bit.
Enjoy your holiday at the beach Obbie.
Eve looks so grown up. Thanks for the update on Franks father.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Glad you managed a sleep-in Jen.

Forgot to say the backpack is almost as big as little Eve herself Uni.

Beautiful view Chookie.

Eve is just gorgeous Uni - FIL will have to pull up his socks in Rehab - it's a tough love place and there is the big incentive of being able to go back to his own home and not nursing home placement.

Looks incredibly soggy DJ.

Hope all is being sorted out with DH Yvette and you are back to sight seeing ASAP.

I hope DH is improving Yvette and they can help find the cause. Fingers crossed for FIL Uni. Rehab is a wonderful place as they get people doing so much. Tough love works wonders.
Chookie what an amazing view.

Great idea to sleep in Jeninwa. Work will be on soon enough.

DJ that sure looks muddy. Do you get stuck in the mud at all?

Morning CC and DJ

Evening all

DH still in hospital no diagnosis yet but it is not a virus they said it could be one of three things treatment is the same for all three so he has started on steroids. He has been in hospital for two nights this is the third day hopefully might be able to come home tomorrow if tests are good. He had a culture done on one of his spots and then it was stitched. Hopefully find out more today.

Thanks for all your kind wishes we are surviving but really boring hanging around a hospital on your holidays.

Yvette, hope DH is feeling better and can leave hospital tomorrow.  Not much fun waiting around hospitals but probably best until you find out what the problem is.  Take care

Evening all.
Uni that's not good. Hope you are well. Stay strong.
Hoping DH gets better soon Yvette.
That's ok chookie hope chooks are ok. Drive safely. Our local chook farmer told mum he lost 2000 chooks on our super hot day last year. Poor animals.
Very muddy DJ. Reminds of the story about the duck with the truck stuck in the muck. Think he got rescued by a goat with a coat in a boat 😄
