Take care Suzanne. The warmer weather will be here soon.  :'( my DH is suffering severely with the winter syndrome.

That is actually a recognised disorder, JD, called SAD - Seasonal Affective Disorder. More often felt in countries where there is only an hour or so of light during winter.

I'm enjoying winter because we're getting beautiful rain, but am finding I'm sick of the food. I have been craving lettuce! So, I made steak burgers for tea on Sunday night (with my flat hamburger rolls) and had Chilli with salad, guacamole and corn chips last night.

I'm making Helene's iced puff pastry tonight for sausage rolls. I have Council tomorrow and starting early in the afternoon with a Budget Meeting, so I'm making afternoon tea.

A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

He seems to be the person who posts all the info and links for the forum on Facebook.
The forums FB page and his FB seem to be one and the same. Maybe he is MM's helper?

I'm here to attest that some of us in Sydney suffer from this infernal affliction, too . . .  :-)) ??? :'( :'(
So over winter and really don't know why this one seems to be dragging on more than others in the past . . .
Roll on the warmth and light of summer!! (that is, until it hits 40+ in the shade . . . ;D ;D ;D)

One of the reasons I moved to Cairns. I hardly every went out in Sydney in the winter not even for groceries. Was utterly depressed needing the sun.  I don't mind if it gets to 40 in the shade ever!!
