We had 10 minutes of sun today.  Beautiful.  Love the cold,  but we are only 1/2 way through winter here.  Our Spring starts in late October. We do have the first of the Snow drops out.  Gert, I can't  cope with 40.   This is when I don't go out.  Just as well we are all different.!!

I don't think I needed to be reminded of that ... it seems like we are just recovering from last Christmas, my poor old ragged brain just can't cope with the thought of another Christmas racing closer by the day!

I happen to be one of those people that enjoy the colder weather, it makes me feel alive especially when walking. The heat on the other hand makes me wilt.  I tend to hibernate during the summer, maybe it's my English blood?  :-))

I came from the middle of the snow belt in New York State. I have no need to ever see snow or cold again.

I enjoy the colder weather too. Jamboree you have had some freezing weather there, lots of minus temperatures. Brrr!

I don't mind the cooler weather! And rarely wear a jacket :) it's when it's cold and windy that it's really uncomfortable.

Gert

Lived in NYC for a number of years way back when.  A monumental blizzard was an excuse reason for a v-e-r-y extended lunch hour . . . extending in happy hour ;D - at the nearby watering hole as a lot of the city offices closed down for the duration.  It was all fun while the snow was coming down and fresh . . .\give it a few days and the snow turned to grey slush and the salt put down for safety wrecked my boots . . :'(  At least we didn't have to shovel the stuff out of the way to get out of the apt buildings.  It was all good, but by Feb. everyone was well and truly over it.  Having said what I said before, I don't mind a DRY cold . . but Sydney winters just don't cut it . .  :-))  Same goes for summer . . good, dry heat is great.  Bring in the humidity and I'm done for! ;D ;D
