It's a beautiful day up here too. DH has been setting the boat up (we bring it up on the roof of the car and he needs to put the motor on and rebuild the baby trailer for it). I have put everything in its place in the van and had a bit of a read. The flies are murder here at the moment and most of us are wearing fly nets.

Marina it is sad about the dolphins. I have a video of DD at a young age playing with a dolphin on a sand bank here. It was very beautiful. We hear people here say the dolphins are better at Bunbury, Mandurah and Tangalooma (?).

It's interesting that it is held on a week day CC. How do people get on if they are working?

Morning all.
CC, it is a delight to see a foal.
Cookie, I envy you but not the flies.
Not so much rain today, although I managed a couple of hours of gardening between showers yesterday. The chooks helped me.

Good morning everyone.

I had a lovely surprise when Mum and I visited DD for her birthday yesterday, she had just had a phone call from the Port Adelaide Football Club to say that her entry on their FB page as to why her Mother should be one of the winners in a competition  to join them in their corporate box and be spoiled with food, drinks and gifts on Mothers' Day (for their match against cookies team, West Coast Eagles) had been chosen as one of the winners!  My DD & GD were so excited you would have thought they'd won the lottery.  Me, little old me - I can't believe it!  I have never been in a corporate box but it's something I've always wanted to do.
