A cool wind blowing in this part of the western capital city. We had a little rain last night. Hopefully there will be more today.

Not long back from Sweden (two weeks ago) and the last day of work today before heading off to Colombia at some ungodly hour on Monday morning ... got to go shopping for my outfit for the wedding over there (my nephew's wedding) this weekend I HATE SHOPPING, so am not looking forward to that.

Flitting here, flitting there Marina - you've been very active.  I hope your health problems have eased.

Thanks, for your comments.  I used to enjoy travel, but now it is less exciting ... a sure sign I am getting older!  It is most unusual for us to have such a busy travel schedule, just the way things turned out this year.  It would have been great had the two events been a little closer together, we could have combined the trip and taken time out to sight-see, but having to do two long haul flights so close together means that any pleasure and leisure has taken a back seat.

We were only in Stockholm whilst we were in Sweden, but it is a gorgeous city mot noticeable was loads of vibrant green stuff growing everywhere - it is called grass (no, not the smoking kind!).  We have lived in the far north previously and had forgotten what a buzz it is to be heading home at midnight and it still being daylight.  It was a pity we didn't get a chance to see any of the countryside, would love to go back again at sometime.

My health problems are much better too, thanks, I have had my stimulator re-programmed and all the pain I was in whilst I was in Sweden has now gone, thank goodness.

Very cold this morning, 3 degrees now, top of 8. Snow possibly tomorrow.

Sweden sounds great Marina.

I went to the cardiologist yesterday, results were so good, it was worth the 2 hour wait to see him..
